| 01 August 2008 Father of 7, Geoffrey, joined TNG after being unemployed for five years. He was ready for a new challenge and joined the Neal Deal 25+ Intensive Activity Programme in Darlington. With TNG, Geoffrey was given advice about improving his CV and in particular, guidance about handling interviews. Throughout the programme he gained confidence in interview techniques and was able to put his new found techniques into practice when he was offered an interview as a Trainee Chef. Geoffrey was successful at the interview and is now a qualified chef at a pub-restaurant in County Durham. He now plans to move up the catering ladder and own a restaurant within 5 years.
