Denis Hambleton

After years caring for his wife and six months of unemployment, Denis, 58, joined the TNG Intensive Activity Programme. During his induction period Denis completed a CV and he was amazed to see the amount of experience he had amounted over the years because he had never seen it written down on paper before.

Denis approached the placement officers with the contact details of a potential placement with a company he had been employed at previously. Whilst TNG carried out the required health and safety checks on the company, Denis gained experience at the Development Centre and a car wash firm.

Denis is now in full time employment at a local painting and decorating firm, where he completed his placement.
