Rebecca Matthews

Rebecca, 22, was bringing up her 17 month old daughter before she joined TNG on the New Deal 18-24 Lone Parent Programme. TNG helped Rebecca produce a CV and also found her a suitable work placement, which consequently improved her confidence.

Rebecca ideally wanted to work in the care industry but was having difficulty obtaining a CRB. TNG paid for her CRB which she received after achieving a job at the local branch of a restaurant/bar chain.
 
TNG then signposted Rebecca towards a care course, which she has started. She plans to stay in employment to support her family and is working towards a career in the care industry.
