| The British Heart Foundation - Ellesmere Port and Chester The British Heart Foundation shops in Ellesmere Port and Chester have offered work experience placements to around 90 TNG learners since 2001. Many of these learners achieved successful job outcomes whilst on placement or later using the retails skills and abilities developed during their programmes. | |
| B&Q - Ellesmere Port TNG have worked with B&Q since April 2007 and have developed excellent links with the Ellesmere Port branch in particular. B&Q’s management team have a strong desire to engage with the community and TNG help build this link. | |

| B&M Retail Ltd. - Ellesmere Port B&M Retail Ltd joined forces with TNG in July 2007 when they became a placement provider. Since then B&M have offered work experience opportunities to fourteen learners from TNG. Two of the fourteen learners were offered contracts and are now permanent members of staff. | |

| Phillip Smedley Phillip,24, had an NVQ Level 1 in Uniformed Services but found himself moving from job to job with no real prospects arising in any of them. Phillip then started working towards his silver Duke of Edinburgh Award and was receiving Job Seekers Allowance for six months whilst he completed the Award. Once he passed his Duke of Edinburgh, Phillip approached TNG for help to find his ideal job. | |

TNG referred her onto their partners at Warrington Disability Partnership where they encouraged her to apply for jobs at compete equally at interviews. | |
| Denis Hambleton After years caring for his wife and six months of unemployment, Denis, 58, joined the TNG Intensive Activity Programme. During his induction period Denis completed a CV and he was amazed to see the amount of experience he had amounted over the years because he had never seen it written down on paper before. | |

| Andrew Fawcett After leaving college, Andrew, 21, struggled to find work. He completed NVQ Level 2 in Graphic Design at 18 years old, but his lack of experience and confidence was making it difficult to find work. | |
| Natalie Rowell Natalie, 23, enrolled on the New Deal 18-24 FTET course with TNG after suffering long-term unemployment. She came to TNG with low confidence, low self-esteem and one of her main barriers was her resistance to change. With the help and support of her TNG Adviser she managed to complete a 2 week placement at a local charity shop in Darlington, which gave her an insight into the public sector. | |
